Meet the Thrive Community Nursing Team

Rosie
Director and Registered Nurse
I’m Rosie, Director and RN at Thrive Community Nursing. I started my journey in 2012 as a disability support worker & I absolutely loved it. I became a Registered Nurse in 2015 & worked in one of Sydney’s busiest hospitals, where I stayed for almost 10 years, working across various acute wards. I also taught the Diploma of Nursing and facilitated university students.
It brings me much joy to be back working in the community and serving those most vulnerable in our community.

Joyce
Registered Nurse
Sister Joyce or Nurse Joyce as they call me. Nursing has been my passion for over 20 years. My journey has taken me through public hospitals, aged care, community nursing, and disability services, where I have been privileged to care for people at every stage of life.
In 2022, I became a Clinical Lead Nurse in the disability sector, combining my clinical experience with mentoring and training support workers to deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. I also provide in-home nursing services and am a Certified Nurse Immuniser.
My goal is to become a qualified Trainer and Assessor to continue empowering and developing the healthcare workforce.
I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect. My commitment is to provide the same quality of care that I would want for my own family.
