National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS
What is it?
Summary
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was established to provide support to the estimated 500,000 Australians who have a permanent and significant disability. For many of these Australians, NDIS will be the first time they receive the support they need to enable them to take part in everyday activities.
If you or the person you care for is eligible, NDIS can help you work out and pay for the necessary support needed to live better lives and achieve outcomes.
